The new body will:
Simply focus on giving the participating, listed brokers, a commercial 'push' and on promoting the professional services provided by them - meaning THEY will benefit from the leads that are generated.
1. Be funded purely by brokers and will be 'mortgage focused'. The reason for this is to make absolutely sure that NOTHING can take the focus away from doing what is best for consumers - and the member BROKERS
2. Promote the benefits of mortgage advice to consumers
3. Drive the consumers (i.e. business!) towards participating brokers
4. Provide consumers with a searchable database of advisers
5. Only be established once sufficiently supported by brokers!!!
It will NOT:
1. Be a Trade Body
2. Lobby
3. Provide regulatory information
4. In any way set itself against what others are trying to achieve for the benefit of brokers and consumers
Repeat - It will simply focus on giving the participating, listed brokers, a commercial 'push' and on promoting the professional services provided by them - meaning THEY will benefit from the leads that are generated.
The Fee to be listed on the new register will be £20+ VAT per month per register entry - payable by Standing Order.
cherry believes it is now time for brokers to act and take positive action to protect (and grow) themselves.
