The specialist lender has expanded this specialist resource for brokers
 
Shawbrook Bank has expanded its Residential Mortgages team within the Property Finance division, appointing two new staff members.
 
Sue Wheatstone and Bethany Watson both join as Business Development Executives, providing additional resource and expertise for the busy Residential Mortgages Sales team.
 
Wheatstone joins after spending over a decade in the City, initially as a Private Bank Manager with NatWest Private Banking before moving to Coutts for two years. She worked for a portfolio of clients in both roles and offered financial solutions covering mortgages, investments, savings and general banking. Commenting on her new role, Wheatstone adds:
 
“Since day one I have noticed how decisions are made much more quickly and processes can be adapted quickly to drive efficiency. I’m looking forward to building relationships with my brokers and making a positive impact on both them and the Sales team.”
 
Watson has previous experience in an IFA environment as a mortgage adviser and placement specialist, and was eager to join Shawbrook when the opportunity arose. Watson also states that:
 
“Due to the professional background I came from, Shawbrook was almost like a household name to me. It has been extremely insightful to work from "the other side" as it were, and I am looking forward to getting to know our brokers’ businesses more as I grow into my new role here at Shawbrook.”
