Dudley Building Society has welcomed Jim Muir to its Board as a Non Executive Director.

Jim is an experienced board level executive and adviser to many financial services companies (FTSE 100 to SME). He is a Chartered Accountant by training and also holds qualifications in Regulation and Compliance, Operations Management and Financial Advice.

Jim said, ‘I am a keen advocate for the member owned building society business model and the benefits that this brings to its members. I’m joining Dudley building Society at a really exciting time. For a relatively small building society they have an obvious desire to innovate and grow in a sustainable way and I’m pleased that I’m now going to be a part of this journey.

Society Chief Executive Jeremy Wood said, ‘We are really pleased to welcome Jim to the Society and the depth and breadth of experience he brings. It was very noticeable from the outset that he shares our ideals and has enthusiasm in abundance.’
