Perspective Financial Group Ltd, the consolidation vehicle for IFA firms, has today (15th February 2011) announced that one of its firms, Harrogate Financial Solutions Ltd, has achieved Corporate Chartered status. The North Yorkshire-based IFA was granted the prestigious title of ‘Chartered Firm’ by the Chartered Insurance Institute having met its rigorous criteria related to professionalism and capability. All Chartered firms commit to the CII’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings. Harrogate Financial Solutions Ltd was one of the first IFA firms to be acquired by Perspective Financial Group in July 2008. The business has seven advisers providing a range of financial advisory services comprising general practitioners, investment, pensions and mortgage experts as well as corporate advisers. Perspective ended 2010 with annualised turnover in excess of £17 million, funds under advisory and management well over £1.3 billion and recurring income of nearly £9 million. In 2010 it achieved its target of eight acquisitions during the year and has stated ambitions to purchase a further 10 firms during 2011. Harrogate Financial Services Ltd becomes the third Perspective Group firm to hold Chartered Firm status following on from Rutherford Wilkinson and Leedhams Independent Financial Advisers Paul Smith, Director of Harrogate Financial Solutions, commented: “To have gained Chartered status is a wonderful achievement for the firm and all those who work here.
