Dear Advisers

Are you authorised to advise on Defined Benefit Pension Transfers? If the answer is ‘no’, please read on.

I am pleased to inform you, that we have launched our own Defined Benefit Pension Transfers Service.

We now have an internal arrangement, which I am satisfied, is sufficiently competent and impartial.

If you are an IFA: This arrangement would allow you to charge your client a fee for your initial work and also, after any transfer has been completed, the receiving plan can be transferred back into your agency, so you can carry out the ongoing reviews and receive the agreed servicing AC fees. We have a very efficient set up.

If you are not an IFA: You can discuss and agree a fee for your initial work.
