Following a successful launch last year, the CII is once again running a series of regional events for apprentices. As well as providing a variety of perspectives on apprenticeships, these half-day sessions will give participants the opportunity to work in groups, preparing a presentation on a topical issue. A panel of industry experts will observe apprentices during the task, and those who perform best will be invited to attend a national finale event in London in November.

11.25	Case study: Where can an apprenticeship take you? A successful former apprentice will outline their career path since completing an apprenticeship, before taking questions from the audience.
11.55	The value of apprentices to business: The employer’s perspective A senior representative of a large employer will discuss their approach to apprenticeship schemes and the value they can bring to a business.
12.15	Working lunch and group challenge Delegates will be split into groups and given 45 minutes to prepare a 5-10 minute presentation.
