The Commercial Mortgages and Residential Mortgages teams within Shawbrook’s Property Finance division scooped an award each at the Specialist Finance Introducer (SFI) Awards.

With the Residential team securing “Secured Loan Lender of the Year”, before their counterparts in Commercial collected “Commercial Lender of the Year” it was a ceremony to remember for the Shawbrook Property Finance family.

The SFI Awards are new this year and focus on individuals and companies who provide innovative, exceptional service within the specialist finance industry. Numerous lenders, brokers, conveyancers and surveyors made the long list of 23 categories before a panel narrowed all contenders down to a shortlist.

Maeve Ward, Managing Director for Shawbrook Residential Mortgages had the following to say:

“This was a fantastic day for the Shawbrook Property Finance division and I am glad I was able to attend this popular awards ceremony, despite this being its inaugural year.

“Several respected lenders were nominated and the fact that we managed to win is a testament to the commitment and expertise of the entire team. As 2016 draws to a close, it’s important to recognise our success this year whilst striving to replicate and then improve for next year. We do our utmost to provide the most pragmatic level of service and comprehensive range of products to our intermediaries and their clients and look forward to finishing a great year.”
