Conveyancing Association announces support for The ESTAS Conveyancer Awards

08 December 2016

The Conveyancing Association, the leading trade body for the conveyancing industry, announced at its annual conference last week that it has become the official industry association partner for The ESTAS Conveyancer Awards in a two-year deal.

The ESTAS Group, which runs a national customer feedback scheme and produces the largest annual awards event for the residential agency sector, launched the awards for the conveyancing sector last month.

The awards are unique in the industry, rating firms on the level of customer service they provide based purely on feedback from customers.

Lloyd Davies, Operations Director at The Conveyancing Association, said:  “Our industry is changing and customer service is at the forefront of those changes.  So we’re delighted to support a set of awards which highlight firms who deliver great service and which help to drive standards higher across the sector. We’re certain that large numbers of Association members, who pride themselves on the quality of their service offering, will be putting themselves forward for these awards.”

Simon Brown, Founder of The ESTAS, explained: “We’re absolutely delighted to have the backing of the leading trade body for the conveyancing industry. Having met with Lloyd and attended the conference last week it’s obvious they are forward thinking and we’re looking forward to developing and growing the awards with their support.”

Entry to the competition is now open. There are categories for regional and national firms as well as a special People Awards category recognising individual members of staff, again based on customer feedback.  The inaugural awards ceremony will take place on 3rd October next year at The Grosvenor House, Park Lane London.  The event will be hosted by The ESTAS brand ambassador, Phil Spencer.

Spencer, the UK’s best loved TV Property Expert, said: “Taking part in the ESTAS sets firms apart from their competitors.  It sends a clear message that they are passionate about customer service, prepared to go that extra mile for their clients and keen to listen to feedback. The ESTAS help firms to focus on service levels and raise standards across the property sector that we all work in.”

Benefits to conveyancers start as soon as they register for the awards where they will secure access to a suite of marketing tools and a service-themed social media programme, as well as customer service performance reports for all firms taking part. The awards are backed by headline sponsor, SearchFlow, the market-leading provider of conveyancing search solutions in the UK.
Maud Rousseau, Group Marketing Director at SearchFlow, said: “We believe these awards will become the benchmark for customer service in the conveyancing sector which is why, as the leading provider of conveyancing search solutions, SearchFlow will headline sponsor the competition and awards demonstrating our own commitment to delivering excellent service and working with conveyancing firms with a like-minded approach.”
