Shawbrook Commercial Mortgages scoops Best Commercial Mortgage Provider at the 2017 BMF Awards

17 March 2017

Another successful night on the awards circuit for Shawbrook…

Shawbrook’s Commercial Mortgages team was last night named as “Best Commercial Mortgage Provider” at the 2017 Business Moneyfacts (BMF) Awards.

This follows on from a victorious 2016 awards season for Shawbrook’s Commercial Mortgages team. During that time, they managed to win six major prizes at five separate awards ceremonies. These were “Best Commercial Mortgage Provider” at last year’s Business Moneyfacts Awards, “Commercial Lender of the Year” at the Bridging & Commercial Awards, “Bridging Lender of the Year” at the What Mortgage Awards, “Commercial Lender of the Year” at the Specialist Finance Introducer (SFI) Awards and finally “Buy-to-Let Lender of the Year” and “Most Innovative Lender of the Year” at the NACFB Gala Dinner & Awards.

Sales Director of Shawbrook Commercial Mortgages, Emma Cox had the following to say on their latest awards win:

“I am so proud that the expertise and dedication of the Shawbrook Commercial teams has been recognised by winning Best Commercial Mortgage Provider.  It was a strong category and we are thrilled to have won it.

“This reflects the lengths we have gone to provide pragmatic guidance and a compelling product offering to brokers and their clients throughout the previous 12 months. It was an historic period of change for our industry, with last April’s changes to stamp duty and interest rate relief, the unexpected EU Referendum result and the PRA’s new BTL underwriting standards which launched on January 1st. Throughout it all, we have worked hard to deliver a transparent approach to lending and innovated our products and processes where appropriate. We will continue this in 2017, making common sense lending decisions which benefit the intermediary channel as well as investors and landlords themselves.”
