Front Events launch National Mortgage Adviser Awards

28 June 2017

Front Events, the events company headed by James Prosser and responsible for the Financial Services Expo (FSE) shows, has today (28th June 2017) announced the launch of the new National Mortgage Adviser Awards, in association with Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB).

The National Mortgage Adviser Awards is open to all advisory firms across the country and will seek to recognise the top practices throughout the UK.

For the awards, the UK will be split into 12 areas with five firms shortlisted in each of those regions. From those five, three firms will be selected and will be recognised at the National Mortgage Adviser Awards Ceremony which will take place on the afternoon of 13th September during the FSE London exhibition in Old Billingsgate in the heart of London’s Square Mile.

The Awards are open to all firms, regardless of size, and firms can also nominate themselves as well as seeking nominations from, lenders, providers, distributors, and others.

The online nomination process will be open for a four-week period, after which all nominated firms will go forward to the judging process. Recognised industry experts will then be charged with deciding on the final top three in each region, plus there will be three specific categories for firms. These are:

  • Best Specialist firm.
  • Best Protection firm.
  • Best Technology firm.

James Prosser, Director of Front Events, commented:

“We are incredibly pleased to be launching the National Mortgage Adviser Awards today, in association with Mortgage Advice Bureau. There are a number of awards events focused on mortgage advisers in the UK however, having spoken to many firms particularly SMEs, there is a belief that they do not have a fair shot at recognition and that their excellent efforts and the fantastic service they provide go unrecognised. The National Mortgage Adviser Awards seeks to put that right by being open to firms of all sizes and allowing those same firms to nominate themselves and to put forward their case for why they are leaders in their specific regions.

“We have split the UK into 12, plus have three other categories, which should allow advisory firms to prove their excellence in their own locale and to reveal their expertise in these areas. This is all about putting firms on the map, and our industry expert judges will be charged with delving deep into the propositions and services on offer, plus they will highlight those that go the extra mile in order to deliver a quality offering to their clients.

“We are looking forward to receiving the nominations, plus welcoming our winners to the FSE London exhibition in September. The National Mortgage Adviser Awards will seek to recognise the best in our business as we believe there are many firms out there who are deserving of such an accolade.”

Peter Brodnicki, CEO of Mortgage Advice Bureau, said:

“It’s always exciting to be involved in getting a new project off the ground, and we are very pleased to be supporting the new National Mortgage Adviser Awards which will give firms all over the country the opportunity to be recognised for the quality of their proposition and advice offering. Achieving the very highest standards is what we are all about as a business and we believe these Awards will be able to highlight and reward the very best in our industry. There are some fantastic firms out there doing the intermediary sector proud, so put your company forward and start voting.”
