FP Show announces later life lending and GDPR speeches

30 October 2017

The Finance Professional Show, the UK’s largest specialist finance expo for the intermediary market, which takes place on the 8th November, has announced the addition of two extra speaking events.

Robert Lands, Partner at international London based law firm, Howard Kennedy, will talk about the impact of GDPR and how the industry can prepare itself. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and comes into force in 2018.

With later life funding very much a hot topic among brokers, customers, lenders and regulators, Dean Mirfin, Group Director at Key Retirement Solutions will speak on lending to older borrowers.

Both events will take place in The Hub at 11.15am and 12.30pm respectively.

All visitors are invited to the Think Property Finance free Networking Breakfast which is open from 09:30am.

All attendees of the FP Show, which takes place at Olympia in London on the 8th November, can earn CPD points for visiting the Show, as well as for seminar attendance.

Rachel Fellows of R&R Events, the organiser of the FP Show, commented, “We are delighted to expand our seminar speeches with the extra sessions dedicated to GDPR and later life lending. The Show now has a full programme of seminars and speeches, along with a record number of exhibitors covering the widest range of specialist lending in the market. With CPD points on offer for everyone who attends the Show, we expect to record even higher attendance this year.”
