Paradigm Protect, the directly authorised protection proposition - which is part of Paradigm Mortgage Services - has today (29th November 2023) added Bupa to its Private Medical Insurance (PMI) panel.

From today, Paradigm Protect member firms will be able to access Bupa’s personal health insurance product which includes a number of options, services and benefits including:
• Access to a digital GP or nurse 24/7 and a choice of private hospitals.
• Extensive mental health cover which incudes, ongoing support, no time limits and coverage for more conditions than any other UK insurer.
• Access to breakthrough cancer drugs and treatments, often before they are available on the NHS.

Clients can choose between two health insurance options within its Bupa By You product: Comprehensive Cover which includes private diagnosis and treatment, or Treatment and Care cover which offers private treatment following a diagnosis.

Advisers can manage all their individual clients via Bupa’s Consumer Intermediary Portal, where they: will find further information on products and services; can offer FMU, Moratorium, Switch and XGS quotes to clients; submit applications and upload supporting documents; and access important literature and documentation.
