LLA to sponsor Later Life Autumn Roadshow events

28 August 2015

The Later Life Academy (LLA), the commercial and training organisation for later life advisers, has today (28th August 2015) announced it is sponsoring and appearing at a series of Later Life Autumn road shows taking place in September and October.

The events, hosted by the Equity Release Club, will cover off a range of later life advice areas offering advisers a wealth of valuable knowledge in this growing and changing marketplace.

LLA will be sponsoring the four full-day events and be on hand to provide information and support to those advisers seeking to expand their propositions across more later life product areas.

Each event will feature platform presentations from key industry speakers plus round-table presentations and exhibition stands from various later life providers.

Later Life Autumn road shows will be taking place at:

  • Wednesday 9th September – Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
  • Monday 14th September – Solihull/Coventry, West Midlands.
  • Monday 21st September – Bradford, West Yorkshire.
  • Monday 5th October – Southampton, Hampshire.

Tickets cost £10 and include refreshments and lunch; each event starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. Advisers can book their tickets by visiting: www.equityreleaseclub.com

LLA was launched in 2014 and offers later life advisers across product areas such as equity release, long-term care, and annuities, with access to training and sales support. At the same time it is developing commercial opportunities for members through its relationships with Product Ambassadors.

Stuart Wilson, Managing Partner of the Later Life Academy, commented:

“It’s an incredibly exciting time for the later life market not just with the pension freedoms introduced this year but also the opportunity for advisers to engage with a public that is perhaps in greater need of advice than ever before. This is why the Later Life Academy is very happy to be supporting these autumn road shows and we will also be on hand to talk non-members through the proposition and the benefits it can offer. We believe that many specialist equity release advisers, for instance, are now in a strong position to broaden their advice and product offering, and they will find a growing number of clients looking for a wider array of services. These events give attendees a chance to learn from experts in their field, particularly the wide variety of later life providers that will be in attendance, and also offer the chance to broaden product knowledge and to network with peers. The road shows promise to be very worthwhile for all advisers who attend and everyone at the LLA is looking forward to reaching out to the local advisory communities over the four days.”
