MBE launch new finance Expo in Bristol

28 September 2015

Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) is pleased to announce the launch of a new Expo in Bristol on 6th July 2016. The event will take place at a new venue in the Ashton Gate complex, part of Bristol City football ground.

The new event in Bristol is an exciting addition the finance calendar and will appeal to mortgage brokers, finance introducers and IFAs in the South West, as it is well connected to places such as Bath, Reading, Cheltenham, Exeter, Bournemouth and Southampton.

Bristol and its neighbouring towns and cities have a thriving financial and business community. With Bristol itself being one of the fastest growing and most affluent cities in the UK, and is expected to grow faster than the national average over the next decade.

Registration for visitors is free and they will have the opportunity to directly discuss the finance and planning needs of their clients with major financial companies such as building societies, specialist lenders, retirement planning providers and industry bodies.

Initial response has been extremely encouraging, with many exhibitors already signed up to make the event a success. Delegates can speak to key product and service providers covering finance for buy to let, secured loans, commercial funding, equity release and bridging finance. Industry bodies will also be on hand to discuss regulatory and supervisory updates for their sectors.

The Bristol Expo will also have an extensive schedule of seminars by leading industry figures providing the very latest market analysis and trends. The seminars are Cll CPD accredited for delegates to qualify for valuable points.

MBE has been running events in London for over 15 years, and in April this year launched a highly successful Expo in Leeds at the Royal Armouries which sold out to exhibitors.

Mike Mikunda, from MBE commented: “After the success of our Expos in recent years, we really wanted to give more finance professionals the opportunity to engage directly with lenders, service providers and the organisations that set policy and regulation across their industries.

“Bristol is a real hub of financial activity and very well connected for brokers and IFAs in the south west. We’re expecting this to be well supported by exhibitors and delegates alike and be of real value as they make new contacts and plan for future growth.

“With so many changes in key finance sectors, the informative seminars at MBE Bristol will be beneficial for brokers and IFAs and they can earn valuable CPD points on the day.”
