Shawbrook bolsters Regional Support Desk with new appointment

11 December 2015

Shawbrook Bank has strengthened its resource for Broker Partners by hiring a new ‘Regional Support Executive’.

Lee Warne joins the Commercial Mortgages division of the Bank with a career background in the insurance industry which incorporated numerous markets such as leisure, vehicle & household.

Lee is now looking to apply that diverse experience in his new role at Shawbrook. As a Regional Support Executive, Lee’s responsibilities will be centred on providing the best possible service for Shawbrook’s brokers, as well as working closely alongside the Bank’s extensive field sales team covering England, Wales and Scotland.

Alongside others on the Regional Support Desk, his will be a key role as he assists in prospecting for new leads, updating Shawbrook Broker Partners on product, process and policy improvements, as well as enquiry handling and individual case assistance.

Commenting on his new role, Lee said:

“I’ve been working near to Shawbrook for several years now, and I have watched with interest as the Bank has grown from strength to strength. When the opportunity arose to attend the interview process, I didn’t have to think twice.

After sitting down to discuss Shawbrook’s plans for the future, it soon became clear that this would be a fascinating role for me personally and I look forward to liaising closely with Shawbrook’s diverse range of Broker Partners. This will be crucial to improving our engagement with them going forward.”

Karen Bennett, Sales & Marketing Director for Shawbrook Commercial commented:

“We’re very glad that Lee has joined our Regional Support Desk with Shawbrook Broker Partners set to benefit from this much-needed additional resource.

I am confident that Lee is a cultural fit for the Bank, and that his presence and skill-set will be highly useful for our brokers as we move into what promises to be an exciting 2016 for the Commercial Mortgages division.”
