Mortgage Underwriters are currently in high demand with a handful of Exella RS's current clients. The biggest need for Underwriters comes from the South East region, it has highest amount of non-banking lenders, much of which are currently looking to expand their Underwriting team due to the sheer growth of the Mortgage market.
Similarly, clients in Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull are looking to expand in the same way but the issue is the lack of Underwriters actively open to a new opportunity.
I always advise candidates to keep their eyes open to potential new moves, companies are currently paying what is necessary to bring the nation's best Underwriters into the business so what is stopping you from taking advantage of this unique, recently regrown market.
