London-based fintech Sikoia has announced a new partnership with Bath Building Society to support the automation of mortgage document handling, income verification, and affordability checks using Sikoia’s AI-powered platform, working alongside Bath’s cloud-based mortgage origination technology provided by One Mortgage System (OMS).
The partnership forms part of Bath Building Society’s wider technology transformation programme and its adoption of modern, cloud-based lending infrastructure.
Through the partnership, Sikoia provides Bath Building Society with a range of automated customer verification capabilities, including:
Application validation and completeness checks
Documents are automatically validated at upload to ensure completeness, integrity, and policy compliance, providing instant feedback and reducing rework.
Automated income and employment verification
Income and employment data is extracted and standardised from payslips and supporting documents, producing a clear income profile with automated risk indicators in seconds, to enable underwriters to make faster decisions
Bath Building Society is currently using Sikoia via its Ready-To-Go Dashboard, enabling rapid deployment and immediate operational improvements without waiting for full core system integration.
In parallel, Sikoia’s services are available through OMS’s cloud-based lending origination platform, supporting a more streamlined application-to-completion journey for both broker-led and direct mortgage applications.
By deploying Sikoia’s solution, Bath is significantly reducing manual effort and turnaround times by automating key verification steps, enabling faster, more consistent decisions and a materially improved experience for brokers and customers alike.
Alexis Rog, Founder and CEO of Sikoia, commented:
“Automating verification is one of the most effective ways lenders can drive consistency and quality across the mortgage journey. By reducing manual document handling and automating income checks, Bath is strengthening decision-making and supporting a smooth, consistent experience for both brokers and customers. We’re pleased to be working closely with Bath to help optimise existing processes as they continue to modernise their technology stack.”
Craig Brown, Head of Mortgages added:
“Automating document processing and verification will have a real impact on how quickly and consistently we can progress applications. By reducing manual checks and providing underwriters with the key information, summarised, we’re able to make decisions faster and give brokers clearer feedback, which ultimately improves the experience for customers.”
