We have developed a CRM, which is doing very well; however, in order for us to continue to grow, I'd like to understand what systems people are using at the moment, the issues you are having, what works well with your system and what you wished it would do.

We are consistently trying to make changes based on adviser feedback, as we are not another system that has experience in technology and builds a system that's trying to be too clever with no idea around the market. It needs to work for the adviser, not the other way around.

Appreciate any support.

Does it support logging and documenting multi product mortgages with multiple end dates?  Seems to be something the industry has collectively decided doesn't really matter when developing crm features

Right now a mortgage is one product with one end date. You can log the parts as separate mortgages against the client so both expiries hit your rate expiry radar, but they read as two mortgages rather than one account with two parts.

You make a valid point though, and I will have a look at what we can do to incorporate this into the system.

Thank you!

Mortgage Brain is crap.

I've seen a lot of feedback recently on MB, and people seem to be unhappy about the new system, but not actually seen it's capabilities so can't comment.

Seems like someone building a new product should know what already exists on the market...

If you checked our system, you would know we are well equipped, and well ahead in the tech space regarding gaps in the market.

However, seeing something and hearing something are very different things, and the only way to do a proper job is to hear the feedback from the people who do the job.

Smartr365 is big on pushing integrations (which obviously increases their revenues) but less pro-active when it comes to improvements which people who actually have to use the flaming system have suggested, they ignore.

All CRMs need to be robust and not break constantly, or need endless 'fixes' or 'workarounds'.

Yes, the ability to record Mortgages with more than one part to it, is important, as is Stability and Reliability.

Fair point.

Historically, all CRM's have worked that way, and it's frustrating as they care more about the revenue stream and not the customer/adviser journey, hence why I'm trying to get as much feedback as possible about other systems, so we don't follow the same path.

Appreciate the feedback!

IMHO, most CRM's seems to be aimed at pleasing a Networks compliance dept rather than a sales and communication tool.

100%

We have built communications into the system, so your emails are connected, any emails sent to a specific client are linked to that client record and any emails received do the same. You can also link lender, solicitor, insurer or any other third party email to that record, so all correspondence is in one place. This also picks up meetings that you have scheduled, which creates a meeting pack with all info relating to that client, so you are prepared.

Having a tailorable provider directory where you can click on a lender/lawyer/valuer/agent from your contacts and see contact info and also be able to add details such as lender account details for client overpayments.

Robust diary system which you can overview as a daily/weekly not just in a daily task list.

Think more about functionality and data- needs to be good for admin as well as brokers but many rarely do both. Integration can come later.

Thank you!

We have built a very strong case manager system, so a case manager could do all work in one screen without flicking through multiple screens to manage their load.

You can also click solicitors, estate agents & lenders to a case for automatic chasers to be sent to them. We import your full lender contact list, so when you do go with a particular lender, BDM & lender info is saved to the case automatically.

I'm intrigued- can you share any info so I can take a look?

Adviser IQ :)

What is your CRM? It sounds interesting

With provider data- it should be visible at all times ot just case specific- almost like an online filofax!

Happy to jump on a call for you to demo and for me to break your system! I have trialled more than you can count and can show how simplistic it needs to be too!

Let's do it!

Book some time in and I'll show you the system and then set you up on the live system for a trial and you can give it a bash!
