Stafford Railway Building Society appoints Stephen Breen as Business Development Manager

Stephen Breen joins the Society as Business Development Manager (North)
Previously BDM for Furness Building Society
Joins the Society with over 30 years’ experience in the sector

Stafford Railway Building Society has strengthened its intermediary mortgage team by announcing the appointment of a new Business Development Manager (BDM)

Stephen Breen has joined the Society as BDM for the North region to compliment current Business Development Manager, Emma Parker, who will now focus on strengthening relationships with new and existing broker networks in the South. The Society will now be able to offer brokers a dedicated BDM for their regional area. Stephen has spent the last three and a half years working as BDM for Furness Building Society, where he developed intermediary business in Cumbria and North East. In his time at Furness, he more than doubled the level of completions.

Previous to this appointment Stephen worked as an Area Manager for Furness Building Society, and various Branch Manager roles at Bradford and Bingley.

Stephen commented " I have found a very warm welcome at Stafford Railway. My aim is to raise the Society profile with Networks, Clubs and individual brokers in the North. I am looking forward to bringing my expertise to the exciting changes at Stafford Railway Building Society”.

The Intermediary Team support brokers across England and Wales and promote the Society’s niche lending criteria alongside attracting volume business that meets the Society's current lending strategy. The team also manage key accounts including Legal & General and BuildLoan.
