Fluent Money appoints Chief Technology Officer

08 March 2018

Fluent Money Group has appointed Garry Taylor as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to manage the next stages of development of its IT system.

Garry, who has been at Fluent Money since its inception, also worked with its founding directors at LoanMakers from 2006 until 2008. Prior to Loanmakers, Garry was a lecturer, teaching programming and Linux OS courses to adult learners and other lecturers.

According to Fluent Money’s COO, Tim Wheeldon, there was only one choice for the role.

He said, “Garry has been with us from the start and has been instrumental in designing and implementing much of our IT infrastructure since we launched. The service we offer centres around our proposition and the quality and enthusiasm of our human team. However, behind that service has been an IT structure that has grown to accommodate every demand we have placed on it. No one knows and understands our systems as well as Garry and we have every confidence that under his leadership, Fluent will remain at the forefront of IT implementation in our industry and further enhance our reputation as the UK’s number 1 provider of second charge mortgages.”

Garry Taylor commented, “I’m really excited to be in a position to make some serious progress with our team and the systems we produce. Fluent Money and its adviser facing division, Fluent for Advisers, are constantly seeking to improve their proposition to customers. My job is to ensure that our people, our partners and their customers have a seamless and fully functional on and offline service, which simply makes their lives easier and complements the service we offer. I am looking forward to the challenge.”
