Society shortlisted for national awards

Leek United is in the running to pick up TWO national finance industry awards.
The Society has been shortlisted as ‘Building Society of the Year’ in the 1st annual MoneyAge Mortgage Awards*.
It is also a finalist in the ‘Best Fixed Rate Mortgage Provider’ category of the 2018 Moneyfacts Awards**.
Chief Executive Kevin Wilson said: “We are delighted to receive these nominations, which is an achievement in itself, and recognition that Leek United is up there with the very best of the UK’s building societies and mortgage lenders.
“It’s also a testament to all the hard work and dedication of everyone throughout the Society’s team, in a constantly challenging and increasingly competitive industry.”
The MoneyAge Mortgage Awards aim to ‘recognise and reward those mortgage lenders and providers offering the highest levels of services and products in the UK market’.
Winners will be announced at a special gala dinner and ceremony on 10 May 2018 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
