Family Building Society - Mortgage Product Changes

19 April 2018

With effect from Thursday 19 April Family Building Society will make several changes to their Owner Occupier mortgage product range.


Withdrawal from all new business:

Owner Occupier

  • 2.64% 2 year fixed rate to 31 August 2021 (XF0131)
  • 2.94% 3 year fixed rate to 31 July 2021 (XF0133)
  • 3.19% 5 year fixed rate to 31 July 2023 with a £1,499 product fee (XF0135)
  • 3.39% 5 year fixed rate to 31 July 2023 with a £249 product fee (XF0136) - this product is only available up to a loan size of £500,000.
  • Family Mortgage 3.04% 3 year fixed rate to 31 May 2021 (XF0138)
  • Family Mortgage 3.14% 5 year fixed rate to 31 May 2023 (XF0139)
  • 2 year discounted rate Offset Mortgage, currently 2.64% with a £999 product fee (XO0011)
  • 5 year discounted rate Offset Mortgage, currently 3.09% with a £999 product fee (XO0012)
  • 3 year discounted rate, currently 2.59% with a £999 product fee(RP) (XD0018)
  • 3 year discounted rate, currently 3.09% with a £999 product fee (IO) (XD0019)
  • 3 year Base rate tracker, currently 2.69% with a £999 fee (RP) (XT0005)
  • 3 year Base rate tracker, currently 3.19% with a £999 fee (IO) (XT0006)
  • 5 year discounted rate, currently 2.74% with a £1,499 fee (RP) (XD0020)
  • 5 year discounted rate, currently 3.24% with a £1,499 fee (IO) (XD0022)
  • 5 year discounted rate, currently 2.94% with a £249 fee (RP) (XD0021)
  • 5 year discounted rate, currently 3.44% with a £249 fee (IO) (XD0023)

Applications for these products will be accepted until Thursday 26 April.
