Family Building Society - Owner Occupier mortgage product changes

With effect Wednesday 25 July Family Building Society will make several changes to their Owner Occupier mortgage product range.

Withdrawal from all new business:

Owner Occupier

  • 2.49% 2 year fixed rate to 30 November 2020 with a £999 product fee (XF0145)
  • 2.79% 3 year fixed rate to 31 October 2021 with a £999 product fee (XF0147)
  • 2.99% 5 year fixed rate to 31 October 2023 with a £1,499 product fee (XF0149)
  • 3.19% 5 year fixed rate to 31 October 2023 with a £249 product fee (XF0151) - this product is only available up to a loan size of £500,000.
  • Family Mortgage 2.89% 3 year fixed rate to 31 August 2021 with a £599 product fee (XF0152)
  • Family Mortgage 2.99% 5 year fixed rate to 31 August 2023 with a £599 product fee (XF0153)

Applications for these products will be accepted until Wednesday 1 August.


Launched for applications submitted directly or via an intermediary:

Owner Occupier

  • 2.49% 2 year fixed rate to 28 February 2021 with a £999 product fee (XF0156)
  • 2.79% 3 year fixed rate to 31 January 2022 with a £999 product fee (XF0158)
  • 2.99% 5 year fixed rate to 31 January 2024 with a £1,499 product fee (XF0160)
  • 3.19% 5 year fixed rate to 31 January 2024 with a £249 product fee (XF0162) - this product is only available up to a loan size of £500,000.
  • Family Mortgage 2.89% 3 year fixed rate to 30 November 2021 with a £599 product fee (XF0163)
  • Family Mortgage 2.99% 5 year fixed rate to 30 November 2023 with a £599 product fee (XF0164)
