Complete FS expands in-house lender capability to give brokers the best of both worlds

17 October 2018

Complete FS, the Hampshire based specialist packager, has announced that Magellan Homeloans and Vida Homeloans are joining its growing roster of lenders who are providing onsite and roving underwriters in Complete’s South Coast offices.

According to Phil Jay, Director at Complete FS, the addition of two more lenders who place underwriters in Complete’s offices offers further evidence of the value of packagers to intermediaries. He said, “Introducers now have the best opportunity of not only accessing complex whole of market support in one place, but also having deals underwritten onsite as well.”

Speaking about the new arrivals who join Kent Reliance, Foundation Home Loans, Landbay and The Family Building Society, providing onsite underwriter support, Phil said,

“We are committed to bringing brokers and lenders closer together, which benefits everybody. It is a testament to our successful formula that Magellan has made us their first packager partner. It recognises the historic quality of our packaging and is testament to the commitment, accuracy and professionalism of our staff.

Phil continued, “We are also delighted to announce that Vida Homeloans has also appointed a roving underwriter to be based in our offices. It’s great for us to have this additional support from Vida and once again shows the value we can add to advisers’ businesses when sourcing more complex cases.”

Simon Read, MD of Magellan Homeloans, commented, “Complete FS has always impressed us, so we’re delighted to support them by providing an in-house underwriter who can add our expertise to their services.”

Louisa Sedgwick, Director of Sales at Vida Homeloans, said, “This new development marks the next step in the growing relationship that has been forged between us and Complete FS. We believe in their vision of bringing brokers and lenders into a closer working environment.”
