Buckinghamshire Building Society continues to support the local community by donating £1000 to The Chilterns Dial-a-Ride

The Society has recently provided funds to allow Dial-a-Ride to maintain a van for the next year. Dial-a-Ride offers this service for the elderly and vulnerable to help them get out and about, to meet people or attend appointments. “We were impressed with Dial-a-Ride’s commitment to providing affordable transport to those who are unable to use more traditional services.” Says Jill Carpenter, Marketing Manager

Paul Binsted, Dial-a-Ride volunteer says “We were so pleased that Buckinghamshire Building Society decided to pay for the maintenance of our van. As a volunteer driver I know how much people appreciate our help in getting them out and about and we are always happy to hear from people who would like to use our service.”
