The staff at Buckinghamshire Building Society decided once again to help Wycombe Homeless Connection at Christmas by donating basic items such as food and toiletries.

Jill Carpenter, Marketing Manager says “I think at this time of year, more than any other time, our hearts go out to those in need. We have supported the Wycombe Homeless Connection before, and the staff at the Society were keen to do so again.”

Sheena Dykes, chair of trustees at Wycombe Homeless Connection, says: “We provide the Wycombe Winter Night Shelter, which acts as a life-saving measure for local rough sleepers by providing them temporary accommodation during Britain's bleakest months. Over the coming months volunteers will prepare beds, meals, and clothes for those attempting to survive on the streets. Support from local businesses like Buckinghamshire Building Society is fantastic and we so appreciate it. Their staff collected an amazing amount of food which will be put to good use over the coming weeks.”
