Shawbrook appoints new MD for Commercial Mortgage Business

John Eastgate set to join the specialist lender in the summer.

Shawbrook is delighted to announce the appointment of John Eastgate to fill the position of Managing Director, Commercial Mortgages later this year. A highly respected name within the mortgage industry, John brings with him nearly 30 years’ experience in financial services having held senior positions at Saffron Building Society and Experian prior to his role with OneSavings Bank.

With current responsibilities including the development and positioning of all products and the management of OSB’s intermediary relationships, John promises to be a key figure for Shawbrook as it seeks to grow within their chosen markets in support of professional investors, landlords and SMEs across the UK.
