Keystone Property Finance appoints Instinctif for intermediary PR

15 April 2019

Keystone Property Finance appointed mortgage and property PR specialist Instinctif Partners. Keystone works closely with brokers helping simplify complex buy to let mortgage cases.

The intermediary-only specialist buy-to-let lender launched as a lender in its own right September of last year, having previously lent through third party agreements.

Instinctif, an international business communications consultancy specialising in reputation, influence, and engagement, has said it will be working with sales and marketing director Phil Riches and the company’s marketing managers, Zoe Podesta and Penelope Macias, who are responsible for developing, implementing and executing the overall marketing strategy.

James Staunton, partner at Instinctif Partners, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Keystone to the Instinctif family. The business is at a decisive point in its development and we are pleased to be providing communications support as they build on their reputation as ‘a lender that brokers can turn to when it’s complicated’. Keystone position themselves as a specialist buy-to-let lender and welcoming enquiries from introducers struggling to place cases. We want to raise awareness of that message. We are here to magnify their growing reputation for going the extra mile for all their brokers and commitment to negotiating more complex cases.”

Phil Riches, sales and marketing director of Keystone Property Finance, said: “The team at Keystone has expanded across all departments since launching in September to help keep our service standards high. The team we have at head office and on the roads is particularly good at understanding and assisting brokers with their complex buy to let enquiries, offering an online processing and case administration system as well as manual underwriting of all cases..

“We can help brokers struggling to place cases for flats above and adjacent to commercial properties, loans for high rise buildings, multiple flats within a block, HMOs, and freehold multi units. Keystone also accept SPVs, trading limited companies and individual applicants.

“The Instinctif team is perfectly placed to help us to own that space – in the current market, sector knowledge and contacts are key, as is having an agency that knows how to reach such a specialist audience.”

Keystone has appointed Louise Roderick-Smith as a BDM covering the Midlands area this year, and joined the mortgage panel of numerous new mortgage clubs and networks including The Right Mortgage & Protection Network via L&G Mortgage Club and Lighthouse. Keystone have also recently introduced a cashback purchase only product range.

Instinctif Partners and its associated marketing strategist brand, Truth, currently work with property search provider SearchAcumen, Barclays, housebuilder Redrow, lifetime mortgages trade body The Equity Release Council, national estate agent Jackson-Stops, developer Gleeson Homes, broker Private Finance, packager Mortgages for Business, and the UK’s largest independent estate agent Haart. Their appointment follows Instinctif being rehired by property portal Zoopla in December.
