Paradigm Protect launch webinar series for member firms

Paradigm Protect, the directly authorised protection proposition - which is part of Paradigm Mortgage Services, has today (14th April 2020) launched a series of webinars for member firms covering a range of advice topics.
Beginning this week, each webinar session is 30 minutes long and will be hosted by a different provider covering a specific topic. The webinars are being offered as an alternative to Paradigm’s CPD events which have had to be postponed due to COVID-19 and allow advisers to boost their CPD hours from home.
Over the next two weeks, Paradigm Protect will be hosting four sessions. These are:
- 15th and 20th April – Royal London will provide practical tips to advisers on home working and the use of technology in order to continue delivering quality advice to clients.
- 16th April – iPipeline will look at how advisers can grow their protection business, saving time and generating protection conversations with their existing client bank.
- 22nd April – AIG Life will discuss how valued-added services can be utilised by advisers to engage with clients as well as secure new opportunities.
A number of other webinars will also be added to the line-up, featuring providers including Aegon, Canada Life & Unum.

Last week, Paradigm Protect launched a ‘Protection Matrix’ document, which outlines a range of information for advisers covering how individual providers are dealing with applications from clients with COVID-19, the product, policy and process changes they have made as a result of the virus, the way they are dealing with claims across individual products, and the contact details and support that is available during this period. Since launch, Paradigm has added new information including British Friendly as a new provider, plus AIG Life and Guardian Financial Services’ recent changes to medical screening.
