Buckinghamshire Building Society invests in enhancing its Broker journey

09 November 2021

Based on extensive feedback from Mortgage Brokers, Buckinghamshire Building Society have today announced the launch of an enhanced application process that makes submitting a DIP and application simpler, with the emphasis on a slick user journey for the Broker.

The new process allows DIPs to be processed electronically through the Broker platform - Broker Online and automates the link between the original DIP and subsequent application, preventing any duplication of keying. The system will keep brokers fully up to date on what stage each application is at, enabling them to keep their clients in the loop of the progress of their application.

That said, Buckinghamshire Building Society still proudly continue to manually underwrite all their cases, providing a fully human and flexible approach to lending that allows them to consider cases on an individual basis based on affordability and individual circumstances.

Speaking about the new system, Claire Askham, Head of Mortgage Sales at Buckinghamshire Building Society said, ‘This upgrade project has been a passion of mine since joining Bucks in 2020. I strongly believe in the importance of making our brokers lives simple. I’m therefore delighted to see this come to life.’

‘Part of our ethos at Buckinghamshire Building Society is trying to resolve cases as quickly as possible and this new process, along with brokers submitting well packaged cases, will allow us to achieve that. We will continue to build on these foundations so look out for more improvements coming soon.’ Claire concluded.
