New client app, ValidateMe© launches to aid firms collecting and verifying ID documents

Sanctions Search are pleased to announce the launch of their new client side iOS and Android app ValidateMe©. The app allows firms using Sanctions Search to gather, securely, high resolution scans of essential documents direct from the client, without being present. The app also carries out, not only a liveness check on the customer themselves, but also the documents.

ValidateMe© has been introduced to accommodate the impact of the global pandemic over the last two years. It has made us realise that we need a client-side app which makes brokers lives that little bit easier when it comes to verifying clients and their documents. ValidateMe© will allow firms to securely request documents directly from their clients at any time and from any location.

The pandemic has resulted in a considerable increase in financial fraud attributed in no small part to the increasingly limited contact we are all having with our customers. Fraudsters are using this change in behaviours to abuse the system. ValidateMe© aims to bring that security back to firms by allowing them a step into the clients world albeit virtually to verify them and their documents are indeed real.

The technology doesn't stop there, it also reads the Passport and or Driving Licence; it then populates the necessary ID checks for you. This reduces the need to key in loads of information, thus saving time and ensuring you reduce the risk of error with data entry.
