OMS integrates Land Registry search facility

02 March 2022

One Mortgage System (OMS), the single-input enquiry to completion processing platform for brokers, has integrated the Land Registry search facility. This integration arms users with the ability to seamless gather relevant information about registered property or land in England and Wales.

The type of information that users can easily access includes:

  • title register - who owns the property or land, and any rights of way
  • title number - the unique number given to a property or piece of land
  • title plan - the property or land’s location and boundaries

The Land Registry search facility also allows users to:

  • obtain copies of title register and title plan
  • obtain a bankruptcy search on the client

OMS is the only end-to-end CRM system which covers product areas such as residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging, commercial plus general insurance and protection. It has already integrated with six market-leading platforms - Iress, Twenty7Tec, iPipeline, Submissions Brain, SmartrFit and Knowledge Bank - to provide users with best in class for product sourcing, protection sourcing and criteria searching.

Neal Jannels, Managing Director of One Mortgage System (OMS), commented:

“The Land Registry search facility offers access to some important records which can help brokers collate relevant information to successfully package a case upfront, rather than potentially having to deal with a string of enquiries from lenders down the line.

“Being able to easily access this from within the OMS platform also means that all the relevant information can be stored in one place without users having to waste time and energy searching through different files and opening new browsers. Our aim is to make OMS the one-stop platform for brokers and these types of integrations will help make this journey a reality.”
