Vernon Building Society announces new national BDM

Vernon Building Society is pleased to announce the promotion of Jack Dougan to the role of business development manager from his current position of intermediary desk adviser.
He will be responsible for mortgage book growth and intermediary relations, continuing to support brokers to find mortgage solutions for their clients.
Dougan joined the Vernon in 2021 as intermediary desk adviser, supporting brokers with their cases.
Prior to this, he was a mortgage adviser for six years, giving him a real insight into the challenges facing brokers, and how to help them support clients.
Dougan said: “I’m thrilled to be taking up this role with the Vernon and continuing to work in the Society’s fantastic intermediary mortgage team.
“We’re committed to supporting brokers and put intermediaries at the centre of our strategy.
“Now I can’t wait to get started in my new role and get out and about meeting our broker partners.”
