Foundation Home Loans, the intermediary-only specialist lender, has entered the industry’s top 10 buy-to-let lenders for the first time. It has also established itself as the largest non-bank buy-to-let lender in the UK.

This is according to buy-to-let lending data released by UK Finance which highlighted the rise of Foundation Home Loans from 17th in 2020 with total buy-to-let lending of £0.45bn to 10th in 2021 with total buy-to-let lending of £1.16bn, a rise of seven places.

The specialist lender is on course to replicate this strong performance in 2022, having reached the £1bn mark in completions year-to-date earlier this summer.
