CHL Mortgages signs up to the new KB PRO criteria system from Knowledge Bank

14 March 2023

CHL Mortgages has today announced that it is to use the new KB PRO system from Knowledge Bank to further improve how its criteria is communicated to mortgage brokers. The system was launched last month and provides lenders with the ability to better manage their criteria data along with a range of tools to improve how their criteria is presented to brokers.

CHL Mortgages was attracted to the ability for head office staff, BDMs, underwriters and internal sales teams to provide brokers with a consistent source of criteria data and wording that is updated in real-time.

The system will also provide users with a unique ‘at a glance’ feature which highlights recently updated criteria for ease of reference. This will help pinpoint what and when changes have been made so that all staff are kept informed to avoid the possibility of any misunderstandings.

Ross Turrell, Commercial Director at CHL Mortgages said,

“We are always looking for ways to improve how we communicate with all our intermediary partners KB PRO allows us to do just that, simply and easily.”

Nicola Firth, CEO of Knowledge Bank said,

“CHL Mortgages always seems to be at the forefront of broker-focused innovation and it’s tremendous to see them adopt the KB PRO system. CHL has built an enviable reputation for putting brokers first and this means presenting their criteria and products in an accurate a timely fashion which helps brokers deliver an exceptional service to their customers. One of the main benefits of using KB PRO to build a case is that it reveals any ‘blockers’ that would stop a case progressing which removes any confusion and ambiguity surrounding lending criteria; the result is a fast-tracked new business enquiry process. We’re very pleased to be working with CHL Mortgages and giving them the tools to deliver an even greater broker experience.”
