YBS COMMERCIAL SCOOPS ‘COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE LENDER OF THE YEAR’ AT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COMMERCIAL FINANCE BROKER (NACFB) AWARDS

29 November 2024

YBS Commercial Mortgages has claimed the prestigious title ‘Commercial Mortgage Lender of the Year’ at the 2024 NACFB Commercial Lender Awards.

The annual financial awards ceremony celebrates the best in commercial finance. Finalists and winners are decided through a combination of judges’ decisions and NACFB member votes.

Angela Norman, interim managing director of YBS Commercial Mortgages, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised in this way - and I’m grateful both to the brokers who supported us and to every single member of our team for the part they have played in our achievements this year.

“We’ve got big ambitions as we move forwards, and have already made some great progress, branching out into new markets, such as launching our new SME product, which allowed us to utilise the existing knowledge and skills within our teams to provide purposeful lending solutions, helping local businesses and their communities.

“And we’ve hit some fantastic milestones – reaching the £2 billion mark on the balance sheet, listening to and acting on broker feedback, and implementing process improvements to make the application journey quicker, smoother, and create more certainty for brokers and their clients. We’ve also made changes to our teams to ensure they support brokers in the best - and quickest – way, at every touch point in their journey with us – recognising the importance of reliable, exceptional service combined with the human touch; and passed on the benefit of market fluctuations wherever possible, to provide the ideal mix of choice and value for borrowers.

“It’s fantastic to receive the recognition that this award provides, which demonstrates that our hard work has all been worth it.”
