SDKA expands customer-facing team with Underwriter appointment

Bridging lender, SDKA has expanded its customer-facing team with the appointment of Chris Simpson as Underwriter.

Chris will work with brokers and direct applicants as well as surveyors and legal professionals to ensure applications are completed to each clients’ timeframes.

He joins from Together where he held an equivalent position from June 2022 to March 2025, prior to which he gained two years’ experience in the property sector as Lettings Manager for Sequence and before that three years in the valuations market as Senior Negotiator at Countrywide.

He becomes the sixth member of the Underwriting team and will report directly to Head of Underwriting, Chris Edwards.

SDKA is a bridging lender offering products on Residential, Semi-Commercial and Commercial properties across England, Scotland and Wales.

The lender offers interest rates from 0.85% pcm up to 75% LTV and terms up to 24 months. Its maximum loan size is £10m.

The business prides itself on considering all cases on an individual basis, and through its proven lending record and close long-term relationships with funding partners it has the option to complete cases outside of the standard criteria.
