MIMHC Launches 5th Annual Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey
12 June 2025
The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) is proud to announce the launch of its fifth annual Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey, which opens this week and will run until Friday 4th July 2025.
This year’s survey continues MIMHC’s mission to shine a light on the real experiences of people working in the mortgage and wider financial services sector. As always, it seeks to gather candid insight into how workplace demands, industry pressures, and personal wellbeing intersect across all roles—from advisers and underwriters to BDMs, CEOs, and support staff.
Over the past five years, the survey has played a crucial role in shaping awareness campaigns, informing training needs, and encouraging more open, honest conversations about mental health in our industry. Insights from previous years have already helped dozens of companies put new support structures in place, from mental health first aiders to wellbeing policies and flexible working arrangements.
Jason Berry, Co-founder of MIMHC and Group Sales Director at Crystal Specialist Finance, said:
“We know that many in our sector continue to work long hours under intense pressure. This survey gives everyone—regardless of role or seniority—a safe space to express how they’re really feeling. Our industry is only as strong as its people, and the data we gather will be invaluable in shaping a more compassionate, productive environment for all.”
This year’s survey results will be published via a ‘White paper’ in July and shared with signatories, trade press, and industry leaders to promote continued improvements in mental health awareness, workplace culture, and support services.
Participation is completely anonymous, and it takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
