Countrywide Surveying Services’ flagship trainee programme delivers 25 new surveyors into residential sector

30 June 2025

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), one of the UK’s leading providers of valuation panel management and property risk services, has reaffirmed its commitment to shaping the future of residential surveying by guiding 25 new surveyors through its structured AssocRICS training programme.

In addition to the newly qualified cohort, a further 10 trainees are now preparing to submit their final assessments for AssocRICS accreditation, while seven new trainees are due to begin their journey with CSS next month.

These individuals bring a wide variety of skills and experience from across the property sector, including backgrounds in estate agency, lettings, new build, and domestic energy assessment. This diversity continues to enrich the organisation’s workforce and supports a well-rounded approach to residential surveying in today’s evolving market.

The AssocRICS pathway remains a core pillar of CSS’s commitment to developing the next generation of surveyors. The programme combines classroom learning with hands-on, real-world training supported by senior RICS-qualified mentors. It also provides a gateway to longer-term career development through CSS’s wider professional learning infrastructure and leadership programmes.

With almost 700 surveyors having successfully qualified through the programme to date, CSS continues to play a central role in finding and nurturing new talent and raising standards across the surveying profession.

Rebecca Freeman, Director of Field Operations at Countrywide Surveying Services, commented:

“We’re incredibly proud of all our newly qualified surveyors and the wider group progressing through the programme. Their commitment, professionalism, and hunger to learn is inspiring - and it reflects the high standards we strive for across the business.

“Our programme continues to evolve to meet market needs, and we’re seeing real benefits from attracting people from different backgrounds who bring valuable insight into our customer offering and reflect the complexity of today’s property landscape.

“Through expert mentoring, structured progression, and a culture of continuous learning, we’re doing more than developing surveyors, we’re nurturing future leaders who will play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of residential valuation and property risk management.”
