Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter Announces Thames Bridges Trek Challenge

London, 27th June 2025 – The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) is calling on industry professionals to lace up their walking shoes for its latest initiative – the Thames Bridges Trek, taking place on Saturday 13th September 2025.

Organised by Ultra Challenge, the UK’s leading provider of walking and trekking events, the challenge gives participants the opportunity to complete a 25km walk along the River Thames, from Putney to Southwark. A shorter 10km route from The Kia Oval to Southwark is also available for those seeking a more accessible option.

This one-day event follows the hugely successful MIMHC Walk & Talk held in May and continues the Charter’s mission to foster mental health awareness, support peer connection, and encourage open conversations within the mortgage and property finance sectors.

Participants will walk as part of Team MIMHC, enjoying scenic views of the Thames and iconic London skyline, all while raising awareness and funds for the Niall Stringer Foundation.

Teams from Brightstar, MT Finance, MortgageSoup, Movin Legal, MFS, Positive Lending, and Sirius Finance are already registered to take part, with more expected to join in the coming weeks.
