The Brightstar Group unveils powerhouse speaker line-up for The Specialist Lending Expo

The Brightstar Group has revealed the final speaker programme for its highly anticipated Specialist Lending Expo 2025, which takes place on Thursday 2nd October in Stratford, East London.
The CPD-accredited event, which sold out in its inaugural year, returns with an expanded agenda that brings together some of the most respected names in specialist finance for a full day of insight, inspiration, and meaningful debate.
The day will begin with a keynote session titled UK Economic Outlook: Getting There, delivered by Darren Winder of Lazarus Economics & Strategy. A leading macroeconomic voice, Winder will provide an expert analysis of the economic forces shaping the mortgage and property markets over the months ahead.
Leading onto the first panel of the day, The Move Makers: The Big Debate, will tackle the sector’s most pressing challenges and opportunities. Joining Brightstar Group Chief Executive Officer Rob Jupp on stage will be Adrian Moloney, Group Intermediary Director at OSB Group; Stephen Todd, Chief Commercial Officer and Co-Founder at VAS Group; Joshua Elash, Chief Executive Officer at MT Finance; and David Whittaker, Chief Executive Officer at Keystone Property Finance.
Delegates will also be treated to a one-to-one leadership interview, In Conversation With, featuring William Lloyd-Hayward, Chief Operating Officer at the Brightstar Group, and Peter Brodnicki, CEO of Mortgage Advice Bureau. The discussion will explore the evolving role of mortgage advice, innovation in the intermediary space, and what it takes to lead in an increasingly complex market.
Later in the day, the agenda takes a bold shift with the second panel, Do You Think I’m Sexy? Pulling Power: Just how attractive is the mortgage industry to work in? This session will explore the challenges around recruitment, diversity and employer brand within the sector. Clare Jupp, Chief People Officer at The Brightstar Group, will be joined by Louisa Sedgwick, Managing Director of Mortgages at Paragon Bank; Richard Merrett, Managing Director at Alexander Hall; Stephanie Charman, Chief Executive of AMI; and Andrew Montlake, CEO of Coreco.
