CSS Training Academy celebrates 100% AssocRICS pass rate with its latest group of academy trainees

05 September 2025

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), one of the UK’s leading providers of valuation panel management and property risk services, is celebrating another major achievement as its latest group of academy trainees have all successfully passed their AssocRICS assessments, delivering a 100% pass rate.

The 10 graduates will now start their journey as surveyors under continued guidance from their mentors and trainers and this new cohort marks another important milestone for the CSS Training Academy, which is rapidly approaching 500 successful graduates since its inception.

At the heart of this success is Sarah Chalmers-Stevens, Head of Professional Development, who has played a pivotal role in guiding trainees through the programme. Supported by her dedicated Personal Development team and field surveyor mentors, Sarah has been instrumental in shaping the Academy into one of the sector’s leading training initiatives.

Graduates have come from a wide array of personal and professional backgrounds, bringing a diverse range of skills and experiences into the business. This diversity continues to strengthen the profession, broadening perspectives and ensuring that the next generation of surveyors reflects the clients and communities they serve.

Matthew Cumber, Managing Director at Countrywide Surveying Services, commented:

“Our Training Academy continues to be a hugely successful initiative and one that we are immensely proud of. Achieving yet another 100% pass rate represents a fantastic achievement and is testament to the outstanding training and support network provided by the team. With nearly 500 graduates to date, the Academy is not only building careers but helping to secure the long-term future of the surveying sector for years to come.”
