We hope 2025 has been successful for you and your business. As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to look back and celebrate some of the exciting changes we’ve made.
Making it easier to work with Clydesdale Bank
We’ve given the Clydesdale Bank website a makeover, improving the navigation and search functionality for lending criteria and products, so it’s easier to find what you need.
We’ve also improved your access to underwriters, so you can now call them directly to discuss complex cases for loans of £500k or more.
Clydesdale Bank’s policy has seen improvements too. We’ve enhanced the criteria for interest-only and part and part loans, and for foreign nationals. We won’t need to see bank statements in as many cases, and we’ve built the customer declaration and Direct Debit Mandate into Clydesdale Bank’s online application, which means there are no more wet signatures needed.
Even greater value from Virgin Money
Virgin Money’s residential Product Transfer deals now match or beat the rates offered to new remortgage borrowers. This matches Nationwide’s pledge to provide great value to existing members, ensuring our current customers get the same—or even better—rates as new ones.
Virgin Money’s lending policy has also been improved for benefit income and lending into retirement.
