05 February 2026

Yorkshire Building Society is celebrating a hat trick of wins at this year’s Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards, after customers once again voted it High Street Savings Provider of the Year for the fourth year in a row. The Society also picked up High Street Mortgage Provider of the Year and Remortgage Buyers’ Choice, reinforcing the trust and confidence customers place in its savings and mortgage services.

The mutual which has branches across the UK and head office sites in Bradford, Leeds and Peterborough took the top awards at the annual awards event, held in London. The awards aim to give the UK’s millions of customers a voice and a chance to reflect how they feel about the range of financial products available to them.

Award winners were chosen based on honest customer feedback from hundreds of thousands of consumers, their feedback is combined with impartial analysis from Moneyfacts’ team of experts to decide the winners.

Simon Watson, Chief Customer Officer at Yorkshire Building Society, said:

“Achieving a hat trick of awards is a fantastic recognition of the trust customers place in us across both savings and mortgages. But being named High Street Savings Provider of the Year for the fourth-year running is especially powerful, it shows that year after year, people continue to value the long term support, products and service we provide as a mutual.

“These awards are built on genuine customer feedback, which makes them incredibly meaningful. They show that people want savings accounts that deliver good value over time and a service that puts their needs first. We’re proud that so many customers across the UK choose us — whether they’re building up their savings or taking the next step with their mortgage.”

James Brooks Website Manager at Moneyfactscompare.co.uk, said:

"Each year, our awards process gives hundreds of thousands of consumers the opportunity to share their opinions on a wide range of organisations across the financial industry. This helps us identify and celebrate the brands that provide the best products and services.

“Recognised annually, the Moneyfactscompare.co.uk Awards serve as a trusted guide for consumers, showcasing the top performers in categories such as banking, insurance and financial services.

“We’re proud to congratulate the winners and all those who received high commendations. We’d also like to thank the over 200,000 consumers who contributed their insights, ensuring these awards remain a genuine reflection of consumer experiences and the services that make a difference."
