Glenhawk saves ‘dream home’ purchase with five-day completion

Glenhawk, the short term lender, has saved the purchase of a dream home by completing a regulated bridging loan against a tight deadline, delivering the funds in just five days.

The borrowers had already exchanged contracts for their dream home, but faced a pressing deadline in order to complete the transaction. The broker, Pure Funding Solutions, turned to Glenhawk to save the purchase, confident they would be able to deliver the funds in time.

Glenhawk moved swiftly, valuing the property with an automated valuation model (AVM) and working closely with both sets of solicitors to ensure open communication was maintained at every stage. The collaborative approach ensured that Glenhawk was able to underwrite the loan, issue the formal offer and complete, all within just five working days, ensuring the borrower beat their pressing deadline and secured the property.

The case was overseen by Nick Hilton, Managing Director at Glenhawk, with support from Peter Turner, Senior Business Development Manager, and underwriter Ruth Griggs.
