Less than a week until the British Specialist Lending Award nomination deadline

The nomination deadline for the prestigious British Specialist Lending Awards is fast-approaching, with just 10 days for submissions.

The nomination process is a three-tier process with a focus on fairness and transparency.

The first stage is an invitation to the industry to nominate individuals that have met the award category criteria in the last 12 months or to self-nominate.

A longlist is then created for each category and a weighting system is applied to account for the number of nominations from the individual’s internal business and the industry more widely.

There is a cap of five nominations from each nominee’s own business.

A three-person shortlist is then created, and they are asked to submit a supporting testimonial and are then invited to a 15-minute interview with industry-renowned judges.

There are 25 awards up for grabs across broker, lender and business leader categories, and are an opportunity to recognise excellence across the specialist lending industry.

The award ceremony will take place on 14 May at Hilton London Bankside.
