The Right Mortgage outlines National Training Event details

The Right Mortgage has today (9th March 2026) announced details of its National Training Event for all member firms, taking place once again on Thursday 12th March at the Vox Conference Centre, Resorts World in Birmingham.

The flagship conference, themed ‘Together we Grow’, will bring advisers, lenders and providers together for a full day of insight, collaboration and forward-thinking discussion, designed to help member firms grow stronger businesses in an evolving market.

The agenda will feature a range of keynote presentations and panel sessions including:

  • A welcome address from CEO, Martin Wilson ,and Operations Director, Nicola Ventrella.
  • ‘Invested in Your Success’ with Ben Allen, Managing Director at The Right Mortgage.
  • A keynote address, ‘Modernising Tradition - A Journey of Cultural & Technological Change’ from Dame Inga Beale, former CEO of Lloyds.
  • An Adviser Panel session entitled, ‘Pivotal Moments. Real Growth. Real Business.’ hosted by Amanda Wilson, TRM Commercial & Strategy Director, featuring Philippa Oliver (Kingsbridge Mortgages), Sam Clark (The Right Advice), James Sudworth (Righthomes) and Darren Hunter (Hunter Mortgages).
  • ‘Brokers and the Future of Fintech’ with Justus Brown, Managing Director of Acre.
  • A technology-focused panel discussion, ‘How Tech, AI & Innovation Are Redefining the Broker Advantage’, hosted by Nicola Ventrella and featuring representatives from Acre, Halifax, Nationwide and NatWest.
  • ‘Shaping Tomorrow Together’ from Derek Burt, Director of Home Operations at Lloyds Banking Group.
  • ‘The Narrow Path to a Pick-Up’ from Liz Martins, UK Economist at HSBC.
  • A mortgage market overview from Clare Beardmore, Director at L&G Mortgage Club.
  • ‘Innovative Lending: Shaping Tomorrow’s Market’, hosted by Victoria Clark, Head of Lending at TRM, with panellists from Coventry Building Society, HSBC, Livemore Capital and Metro Bank.
  • ‘Has the Protection Review Planted the Seeds for Stronger Income Protection?’ hosted by Amy Wilson, Head of Insurance at TRM, with representatives from MetLife, National Friendly, Royal London, The Exeter and a member firm principal.

The National Training Event will also feature two break-out rooms. The Later Life Lending break-out room will host Lightning Talks featuring Aviva, Canada Life, Family Building Society, Perenna and Pure Retirement. While the Private Medical Insurance break-out room will include presentations from April International, AXA Health, The Exeter and Vitality.

During the day, there will be a full Exhibitor Hall featuring exhibitors where attendees can discover new products and services and catch up with existing lender and provider contacts.
