District & County Investments (DCI) has provided a £3.45 million development exit facility to refinance a residential scheme at Lawnswood in Heswall, Wirral, supporting Blue Sky Developments, a longstanding repeat customer, as the project moves towards completion in 2026.

The development, progressing towards completion in 2026, comprises a high-quality, three-storey apartment block delivering nine executive two-bedroom apartments, complete with associated parking, landscaping and cycle storage.

DCI structured the facility as a development exit loan, refinancing the borrower’s existing development finance and providing additional time to complete unit sales at optimum value.

By stepping in at a critical stage of the project lifecycle, DCI ensured a seamless transition from development funding to exit finance, allowing the borrower to maintain momentum without disruption.

The structure provided the borrower with certainty and flexibility, removing pressure to dispose of units prematurely and enabling the scheme to reach its full market potential.
