Equifinance promotes Kieran Park to Chief Operating Officer

Intermediary focussed second charge lender, Equifinance, has promoted Kieran Park from his current role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take on the wider responsibility of becoming Chief Operating Officer working closely with Chief Executive Tony Marshall.

Kieran joined Equifinance from Mortgage Engine where he was Chief Technology Officer for two years. Prior to that he spent nearly six years at Shawbrook Bank, latterly as Head of Innovation and Delivery, leading the Change and IT Delivery Team that serviced the property division for residential and commercial mortgages.

In the eleven years that Tony Marshall has led Equifinance, it has become a leader in the second charge market. Kieran Park’s promotion comes at a time when the business is expanding its market share and implementing new business protocols to further improve its broker interface and experience. Kieran has played a major role in the design and rollout of the new systems.

Speaking about Kieran’s new appointment, Tony Marshall said,
