Landbay appoints Richard McRoberts as BDM for Kent and South Coast

Buy-to-let lender, Landbay, has today (13th May 2026) announced the appointment of Richard McRoberts as its new Business Development Manager (BDM) for Kent and the South Coast.

Reporting to Landbay’s Sales & Distribution Director, Rob Stanton, Richard provide full sales support to brokers and advisory firms across the region, working with them to provide finance solutions via the lender’s product range and across a broad range of borrower and property types.

Richard brings over 12 years’ experience across the property and finance sectors to the role having spent nine years working in sales and lettings across central London and the South East before moving into finance in 2022.

In the last four years he has worked as a specialist buy-to-let broker at Mortgage Finance Brokers, placing cases covering a range of cases including limited company structures, HMOs and MUFBs.

Landbay said Richard’s broker-side experience would be invaluable in supporting brokers across his region, particularly those working on more detailed or specialist buy-to-let cases.
